*Poster Samples from YouTube

These are a few samples of YouTube videos currently found on their site. This first video is a good example of the kind of video resolution you should want. Obviously this is a professionally produced live piece and is an interview using proper lighting, audio and such. Still this sort of shoot is not necessarily what you need. Your theater poster video may well be handled with strictly voice-over narration and such. Still linking to this video would be an interesting possibility to include in whatever presentation you might be doing.

* Commercial Poster Entry - picture quality not acceptable

The video is only chosen as a sort of straight ahead display of movie posters, but is a poor example of the picture quality that you should want for your presentation. It is also being offered as a DVD that the viewer can buy. I don't think they'd make many sales from the version they're showing. Still if you do it right a DVD could be a helpful item to have available to tie-in with membership drives or other promotion work you might want to consider.

By the way, if you want to check the video quality available with various YouTube videos, you can see it by starting the video playing and then  clicking on a small icon at the bottom of the screen. See below:

* Shakespeare Posters and Glasswork

Here is a site that was displaying some lovely poster art, but that had been uploaded at a pictorial quality level that was causing hang-ups in playback. Setting it back to 480p cleared up the problem and still allowed the viewer to get a good view of the posters. Also near the end of the video the viewer is shown some of Guy Thorton's Isle Of Wright glassworks. The work is really lovely. Toggle to a full screen mode to really see it in detail.
